About DeskBoundHealth

We're desk workers who got tired of hurting. And tired of wellness influencers telling us to "just do yoga" and "practice self-care."

The Story

Nobody writes country songs about carpal tunnel. But after 15 years of typing, you'll wish they had. The guy on the construction site gets workers' comp for his back. You get a $200 ergonomic mouse and a "walk it off" from HR.

Your pain is invisible. Your coworkers can't see your back screaming after three hours of Zoom calls. Your boss doesn't know your wrists ache every evening. Your doctor tells you to "exercise more" and sends you on your way.

We built DeskBoundHealth because we lived it. The afternoon crashes. The tension headaches. The stiffness that makes you feel 65 at 35. The supplements we bought because some Instagram ad promised miracles, then sat in a cabinet gathering dust.

What We Believe

Work With Reality, Not Fantasy

You can't quit your desk job tomorrow. You won't suddenly exercise for two hours every day. You won't meal prep 21 organic, locally-sourced meals every Sunday. What can you actually do? Start there.

Your Pain Is Real

Sitting might not look dangerous like a construction site, but 40 hours a week × 50 weeks × 20 years equals 40,000 hours of accumulated damage. Your body keeps score. The bill comes due eventually.

Information Should Be Honest

We don't sell miracle cures. We don't pretend one supplement will transform your life. We give you the research, our experience, and honest recommendations. Take what works. Leave what doesn't.

Same Tribe, Different Battle

Construction workers have visible injuries. Desk workers have invisible ones. Same body. Same neglect. Same need for someone to take it seriously.

Our Approach

Every article on this site is written for desk workers, by people who understand desk work. We cite research when it exists. We're honest when the science is unclear. We recommend products when we believe they help—and we're transparent about affiliate relationships.

We're not doctors. We're not going to diagnose you or prescribe treatments. We're desk workers who've spent years figuring out what actually helps when you spend your life in a chair. We share what we've learned.

The Legal Stuff

DeskBoundHealth is for informational purposes only. This is not medical advice. We're not doctors, nurses, or healthcare professionals. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before starting any supplement regimen or making changes to your health routine. See our full medical disclaimer for details.

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click them and buy something, we may earn a commission. This doesn't affect our recommendations—we only recommend things we genuinely believe can help desk workers.

Who We Are

We're a small team of people who've spent way too many years at desks and decided to do something about it. Not start a wellness brand. Not sell you a lifestyle. Just put together the health information we wish someone had given us before our backs gave out and our eyes started twitching.

We believe good health information shouldn't require a medical degree to understand or a trust fund to act on. If something helps, we'll tell you. If something's a waste of money, we'll tell you that too.
